Alongi Media was created to produce results.
In 2009, Phil Alongi, one of the world’s preeminent network news and special events producers, left a storied career at NBC to start a solo venture - and Alongi Media was born. He quickly put his extensive creative and high-level production experience to work on a wide array of projects including producing Afghanistan’s first ever Presidential debate, consulting for the Vancouver Winter Olympics, and producing a live televised high-wire walk across the Grand Canyon. He has produced small non-profit galas and multi-day corporate conventions, small virtual conferences and international television events.
Fresh off launching and producing a hit show on A&E, and running one of the largest newsrooms in the PBS system for the better part of a decade, his son, Phil II, joined Alongi Media in 2020 as its Chief Operating Officer and led a major expansion of the company. Today, Alongi Media stands as a coalition of top-tier media professionals with the capacity to produce standout live events and provide expert consultancy to outlets around the globe. The team boasts scores of Emmy® Awards, has over 100 political debates to its credit, and has produced and overseen live events ranging from 50 attendees to more than 50,000.
“Thanks to the mastery of Alongi Media, our annual conference’s 7,000+ attendees experience a polished 5-day event that is meticulously timed and executed, in addition to being informative, captivating and entertaining. No wonder their reputation in the space is so impeccable!”
